The company responsible for this policy
Abacus Homedale LLC provides Soft Lane: Image To Video. Our postal address is 4543 S Holladay Blvd, Holladay, UT 84117-4425, United States. We use “we”, “us” and “our” to mean that company throughout this policy. We determine the purposes of the processing described here and act as the controller where applicable data protection law uses that term. Privacy enquiries can be sent to support@softlaneai.org.
This policy covers the Android app, the website https://www.softlaneai.org, the administration of purchases and our support communications. The app's features are image-to-video, video templates, AI images and image templates. It is in development, with Google Play availability coming soon and no published store link available yet. App descriptions explain handling when those features are available.
Personal information includes details that identify you directly and information reasonably linkable to a person, such as a device reference, an identifiable image or a support conversation. The absence of a name or a login does not necessarily make information anonymous.
The website provides product information, illustrative prices and these policies. It does not accept generation requests or payments. Its concept artwork is not an app screenshot or a result generated by the app, and viewing an illustration does not send creative material for processing.
This policy is an explanation, not blanket consent to every possible use. When a particular interaction requires additional notice, consent or another legal step, that requirement applies separately. Rights mentioned for a region depend on the law governing the relevant processing and its scope.
Material and messages you choose to provide
When you request a creation or contact us, we receive the information needed for that interaction. What is provided depends on your choices: a photo request includes selected material, while an email includes the address to which we can reply. You do not have to submit either merely to read this website.
- Creation information is everything associated with a particular work. It includes prompts, input images or videos where supplied, output images or videos, parameters and settings, template selections, task records and identifiers, status, timestamps, related metadata and associations. Copies, previews, thumbnails, cached material and backups are included. The list illustrates the scope and does not restrict it to particular file types or fields.
- Support information includes your question, the correspondence, any relevant app-user or order reference and an attachment or screenshot you decide to send. We receive your email address if you contact us by email. Only include material relevant to the issue; an enquiry does not automatically require the source image or an identity document.
- Reporting information includes the concern raised about a creation, available references and the explanation or evidence you provide. You can report a creation from its detail page inside the app. A report can also be described to support when you cannot use that route.
Creation information does not stop being creation information when placed in an email, screenshot, report or attachment. Its content, task references and other associated information keep the original deletion deadline. An open conversation is not a separate archive for the work it concerns.
Please avoid unrelated private documents, full financial details, passwords and authentication codes. If more information is needed to locate a record or investigate a concern, we explain the relevant need and seek a proportionate amount. A message about a factual problem can say that a detail is unknown rather than supply an invented reference.
Records arising from app use, the device and purchases
Information also arises when a device communicates with our systems or a service provider returns a response. Sources include app and website requests, processing of a requested operation, Google Play transaction information and the installation attribution described below. These records can relate to an installation or person even when no registration takes place.
- App-user and installation records include identifiers used to operate the service, preferences, settings, purchased entitlements and the associated balance information. Information linking one of those records to a specific creation is part of the creation information and follows its deadline.
- Purchase records include the pack purchased, store order or transaction references, dates, receipts or verification responses, purchase and refund status and the entitlement delivered. Google Play processes the payment through its own service; we receive relevant information to verify and administer it.
- Operational records include IP address, device or browser characteristics, operating-system and app versions, request times, relevant page or feature interactions, errors, diagnostic details and logs needed for reliability, security or abuse prevention. A portion that identifies or describes a particular creation is subject to that creation's removal deadline.
- Attribution records include permitted device or advertising identifiers, referral and channel information, IP and version details, and installation, first-open or session signals used to establish an installation source. These are technical signals, not creative content, and are explained separately under Adjust.
Diamond packs are one-time purchases available to all users, and purchased diamonds do not expire. Website prices are illustrative USD amounts; the final local price, taxes and purchase conditions appear in the app before confirmation. Purchase verification and balance administration do not justify keeping an individual creation or its associated information beyond its deadline.
For a purchase issue, an available order reference and description are more useful than a full bank statement. Remove unrelated details from evidence. Independent transaction records may be necessary for refunds, reconciliation or accounting, but a need to keep them does not turn creation records into financial records.
No registration, but service records still exist
Soft Lane does not require a login account, a password or social sign-in. An app-user record identifies the use of the service rather than a separately registered profile. A deletion control that refers to an account concerns those app-user records and associated information.
Without a login, there can still be personal information in requests, installation identifiers, purchase entitlements, attribution and messages. Relevant references let us direct a requested action to the correct record and locate information when you ask for help. They are not a reason to collect unrelated information about you.
Your Google Play account is independent. Buying through the store does not create a Soft Lane login. Removing Soft Lane data does not close a Google account or erase information Google holds for its own responsibilities. Google's own privacy information describes that separate handling.
You do not need to create a login to make a privacy or deletion request. If an available reference is needed to identify the correct record, we explain what can help. Never provide a store password or authentication code; those credentials are not part of our support or verification process.
How a creative request is processed
Android's system Photo Picker lets you choose photographs to make available for input. The selected material is uploaded when you request the relevant creative operation. Generation takes place on servers that we host and operate with self-hosted models, rather than being described as entirely on-device processing.
We do not send creation inputs, outputs or related information to a third-party AI generation provider. Operational services and installation attribution have different roles described in this policy. Self-hosted generation does not mean that no operational provider ever handles a technical or service record.
We do not use facial recognition to identify people, extract facial geometry for identity purposes or create biometric identity records. A face in an image can nevertheless make the image personal information. The protection given to that image does not depend on whether the app performs biometric identification.
No user information is used for AI training. This covers prompts and media, but also user references, purchase records, diagnostics, reports and support correspondence. Completing a request or investigating a problem is not permission to create a training collection.
All information associated with the creation is deleted within 36 hours from the beginning of its input upload, or from prompt submission where there is no upload. The output and its associated records have the same deadline as the input. Completion, copying or sending a report does not start a new period.
Use only material you are entitled to provide, including appropriate permissions for someone else's personal information. Avoid irrelevant sensitive details. Check a result before saving or sharing it, because generated material can be inaccurate or reveal unexpected information. Save an available copy before its deadline if you want to retain it yourself.
Adjust identifies installation sources
We use Adjust only to identify the source of a Soft Lane installation, such as a referral, campaign or acquisition channel. It is not an AI generation service and does not analyze the creative material you send or receive.
Attribution uses necessary technical information. Subject to availability, consent and applicable privacy choices, this can include device or advertising identifiers, referrer and channel details, IP address, operating-system, app or SDK versions, and installation, first-open or session signals. These signals may involve personal information even without a name.
Adjust does not receive prompts, uploads, outputs, task records or other creation information from us. We do not send it support conversations, content reports or purchase events, or use it to measure activity within creative features. Necessary attribution information and results may pass through enabled acquisition-channel integrations, subject to the relevant permissions and opt-out choices.
Attribution records have retention arrangements for that independent purpose. They are not assigned the creation lifetime. A device setting can limit an advertising identifier without erasing older records. Contact us for access, deletion, an objection or an applicable advertising opt-out concerning processing for Soft Lane; we involve the relevant provider as needed to handle a valid request.
Purposes and the applicable grounds for processing
We use information for the activities below. When the applicable law requires a legal basis, we identify one for the particular activity. Information needed for an action you request is different from an optional activity requiring a separate choice.
- Delivering creative requests: accepting selected material and instructions, applying settings or a template, managing the task, communicating its status and returning the result.
- Running the app: maintaining preferences and service records, administering entitlements and providing information about access, availability or a service change.
- Handling payments and remedies: validating transactions, delivering purchased diamonds, reconciling balances and addressing approved refunds, reversals, missing entitlements or purchase disputes.
- Responding to communications: answering questions, investigating faults, handling content reports and privacy or deletion requests, and providing necessary administrative responses.
- Establishing installation sources: using the limited Adjust information to attribute an installation to a referral or channel, without using Adjust for creative-content or purchase-event analysis.
- Protecting and maintaining the service: diagnosing failures, reviewing misuse or harmful-content reports, preventing fraud, responding to incidents, applying the terms and establishing or defending legal rights.
- Fulfilling duties and obtaining advice: maintaining necessary accounting or tax records, complying with valid legal requirements and obtaining relevant professional advice.
Where recognized by the relevant law, processing necessary for the requested service or purchase may rely on performance of a contract or steps you request beforehand. Required accounting or other records may rely on a legal obligation. Necessary reliability, security and business administration may rely on legitimate interests where permitted, after considering whether your rights and interests outweigh that use.
Where consent is required for tracking, device access, communications or another activity, we seek the required choice rather than treating a visit to this policy as permission. You may withdraw consent through a relevant available control or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing, and we explain any effect on a requested function. The grounds described here do not replace consent where the governing law requires it.
If information needed for a generation or purchase is not provided, we may be unable to perform that action. Optional support attachments and unrelated information are not required merely to ask a question. A proposed new purpose that requires another notice, consent or legal step must satisfy that requirement before proceeding.
We may use genuinely anonymous or aggregated statistics to understand performance. Hashing or replacing an identifier alone does not establish anonymity, and linkable information remains protected. A statistical or diagnostic purpose cannot retain a particular creation's content or associations past its deadline. None of these purposes permits AI training on any user information.
Disclosures to providers and other recipients
Access and disclosure must be relevant to a purpose in this policy. A list of recipient categories does not mean every category receives every record. When a provider handles information for us, its role and authorized purpose limit the handling.
- Operational providers may receive information needed for hosting, storage, website delivery, communications, support or security. Adjust receives the limited attribution information described above. Those activities are separate from the self-hosted AI generation service.
- Google Play and purchase-related services may exchange transaction, verification, entitlement, refund or dispute information necessary to deliver a purchase, resolve a discrepancy or fulfil a platform requirement.
- Professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers, may receive relevant information for advice, compliance, business administration or a claim, under appropriate confidentiality duties.
- Courts, regulators, law enforcement or other legal and safety recipients may receive information when a valid requirement applies, or where disclosure is lawfully needed to protect people, investigate abuse or establish, exercise or defend rights.
- Parties to a proposed or completed financing, acquisition, merger, restructuring or asset transfer may review or receive relevant information. Appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards, required notices and existing privacy commitments continue to apply.
- People you authorize may receive information at your instruction, including a representative assisting with a privacy request. A copy you independently export or share is subsequently handled by its recipient outside our operation of the app.
We require processing on our behalf to have appropriate protection and remain limited to its authorized purpose. Provider-held copies of creation information share the original deletion deadline. An independent provider, such as a marketplace for its own payment records, may also have separate obligations for information it handles for itself.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws also regulate disclosures for other benefits or advertising as sale or sharing. The applicable rights and preference-signal routes below address those broader definitions; the absence of payment does not remove them.
One deadline for the whole creation record
A creation has one maximum period of 36 hours from the start of the input upload, or prompt submission for a request without an upload. By that deadline, all information associated with the creation is deleted. The result does not receive a new period when generation completes.
This includes the work, prompts, input and output images or videos, parameters, settings, selected templates, task identifiers and records, status, timestamps, metadata, associations and all copies. The rule covers every system we control and systems processing on our behalf, including databases, file storage, logs, reports, support attachments, previews, thumbnails, caches and backups.
Copying a file, moving a record or opening a support, security or legal matter does not extend the deadline. Creation information cannot be retained within another record simply because that other record has an independent purpose. A task link or other association is included in what must be removed.
- Independent app-user and settings records may remain as necessary to administer your use and entitlements, then be removed when no longer needed or when a valid deletion request requires it. Their links to a specific creation are removed by that creation's deadline.
- Independent purchase and financial records may be necessary for verification, balance reconciliation, refunds, disputes, accounting or tax duties. A purchase history is different from a creation history. The purchase record cannot preserve creation content, metadata or associations after the deadline.
- Independent support and report records may be needed to resolve a matter, document a response or address a related dispute. Creative attachments, screenshots, task references and other creation information are removed on time even if the wider exchange continues.
- Independent technical and security records may be necessary for diagnosis, protection, abuse prevention or a particular investigation. The purpose governs their retention, while any creation-specific content or associated information in them follows the original creation deadline.
- Independent attribution information is retained for the installation-source purpose under the relevant Adjust arrangements and configuration, subject to applicable rights and obligations. These records do not contain creative information and have their own retention criteria.
For an independent record, we assess the purpose, whether the need remains, legal requirements, a valid request and whether less identifiable information is sufficient. We delete it or make it genuinely anonymous when it is no longer necessary. Any restricted backup handling of an independent record must not preserve or restore deleted creation information.
Purchased diamonds not expiring does not justify indefinite retention of every kind of personal information. Nor does the app provide permanent storage for creations. Save an available result before its deadline if you want your own copy. Files exported to your device or independently shared elsewhere are outside our controlled systems and processors; those separate copies remain under your or the recipient's control.
Removing your app-user information
You can request deletion from Personal Settings or by email. Neither route depends on using the other, and you can email while you still have app access. No login, new registration or reinstallation is required to submit the request.
- In the app, open Personal Settings, select the deletion control, review the information shown and confirm the request. Save any available creation you wish to keep before confirming removal.
- By email, contact support@softlaneai.org and say you want your Soft Lane app-user data deleted. Provide an app-user or order reference if available. If you cannot open the app or do not have a reference, explain what information is available so we can identify an appropriate next step.
Deletion includes the relevant user record, non-essential preferences and associated personal information, including all remaining creation information and copies. The account-deletion label concerns app records rather than a registered login. We send the necessary instructions to providers processing on our behalf.
Limited verification may be needed to find the correct records and protect another person's information. Independent records required for a specific purchase, tax, security, support, attribution or other lawful need may remain only for that purpose, with relevant retention explained. They are not used to continue ordinary use of a deleted user record or retain creation information beyond its deadline.
Routine removal under the 36-hour rule does not await a request, verification or support response. Once erased from our systems, the creation and its associated information are no longer available there. Clearing local storage or uninstalling the app is different from requesting removal of service records.
Data deletion does not close a Google account, remove Google's independently held payment records or automatically request a refund. You can raise a purchase concern and a deletion request together; resolving the purchase is not a prerequisite for exercising a privacy right. Copies saved or shared outside the service remain under the control of you or their recipient.
Website storage, device permissions and outside links
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers, set advertising cookies or store page selections persistently in the browser. Its button selections are temporary. It uses the browser's system fonts without requesting external font files. Pages and images may be cached for display. There are no website forms for generation, payments or submitting personal material.
The installed app has technologies distinct from website cookies. Local and service records support its features, and Adjust provides the disclosed installation attribution. Browser cookie controls do not automatically switch off an installed SDK. Removing a local cache also does not erase information already received by our service or a provider.
The Android system Photo Picker makes the photographs you select available for a requested input. When another operation needs a device permission, permission is requested for that operation. You can refuse or change access through the device's controls; a dependent function may then be unavailable. Changing permission does not itself remove material previously uploaded.
Manage browser storage and device privacy preferences through the relevant settings. Consent required for device access or tracking is separate from visiting this page. A future-access restriction and a request to delete prior information are different choices, and you can use the relevant request route for each.
Following a link to Google Play, Adjust or another independent destination brings you to that service's own terms and privacy information. Its direct interaction with you is separate from our handling. We remain responsible for our disclosures and for processing carried out on our behalf.
Measures to protect information
We use technical, organizational and administrative safeguards appropriate to the information and the risks involved, addressing transmission, storage and access. Access is limited to people and systems with a relevant operational need and to the work they are authorized to perform.
Protection includes investigating faults and suspicious activity, responding to incidents and reviewing relevant provider handling. No connected service can guarantee that every loss, unauthorized disclosure or misuse is impossible. We assess incidents and provide notifications to people or authorities when the applicable law requires them.
Protect your device and store access. If you notice a security issue, contact us with a brief explanation and a useful available reference. Do not send passwords, card security details or verification codes. You can describe a concern first rather than forwarding unnecessary sensitive evidence.
A security investigation does not extend creation retention. Creative material, task records and associated information within logs or incident evidence keep their original deadline. Only independent records with no remaining creation content or links can follow a separate necessary retention purpose.
Processing across borders
Our operator is located in Holladay, Utah, in the United States. Infrastructure and providers involved in operating the service, including relevant Google Play and Adjust activities, may process information in other countries. The company address does not promise where every record is stored. Privacy protections and rules on government access can differ between locations.
Where international-transfer requirements apply, we use the safeguards or lawful arrangements required for the relevant transfer. Depending on the law and destination, those can include an adequacy decision, approved contractual protections or another permitted mechanism. UK or European requirements apply where they govern the information involved.
You can ask about the arrangements relevant to your information, including how to obtain an applicable description or copy of safeguards. Necessary confidential details may be protected without removing information rights you have. A transfer or change of provider location does not extend the creation deletion deadline or authorize another purpose.
Children and sensitive material
Use of Soft Lane must meet the age, capacity and consent requirements that apply to the user. Where lawful use requires a parent or guardian's permission, that permission must be obtained. This policy does not permit someone to bypass an age restriction or supply consent they cannot lawfully give.
We do not knowingly collect children's information contrary to applicable requirements. If we learn that it was collected without a required permission or other legal basis, we take appropriate steps to stop that processing and remove the information as required. Parents or guardians may contact us for review or deletion, with proportionate verification where necessary to protect the child.
Creative requests do not require unrelated government identification, health records, financial documents or similar sensitive information. Keep unnecessary details out of prompts, images and support attachments. Take care with other people's information and obtain the permissions your use requires. Recognizable faces remain personal information even without biometric identification.
Privacy rights and requests
Write to support@softlaneai.org to ask about your information or exercise an applicable right. Available rights depend on the law, processing and its legal basis. A Soft Lane login is not required. These rights can include the following.
- Confirmation and access: learn whether information about you is processed, receive a copy and understand its sources, uses and recipients.
- Correction: ask for inaccurate information to be corrected or incomplete information completed for its intended purpose.
- Erasure and restriction: request deletion or limits on processing, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions for independent records, such as a particular legal obligation or claim.
- Portability: receive relevant information you provided in a usable format, or have it transferred to another provider where the right applies and transfer is technically feasible.
- Withdrawal of consent: change a consent-based choice without making earlier lawful processing unlawful.
- Advertising and profiling choices: exercise applicable rights concerning sale, advertising-related sharing, targeted advertising or profiling with qualifying effects.
The right to object is separate. Where we rely on legitimate interests, applicable law may allow an objection based on your circumstances. An applicable objection to direct marketing does not depend on explaining a personal reason. You may distinguish stopping a future use from deleting an existing record and request both where available.
We may need a proportionate reference to match a request to the right app-user, device, transaction or correspondence. This protects against disclosure or removal of someone else's information. An authorized representative may act where permitted, with evidence of authority and required verification. You do not need to create a new login to make a request.
We respond within the applicable legal period. We explain an exception, refusal, permitted extension or lawful charge and the relevant next steps. Exercising a protected right does not result in unlawful discrimination. An exception for an independent record does not extend the creation deadline.
You can complain to the regulator or supervisory authority competent under the law that applies to your information. Where UK or European data protection rights apply, this includes the relevant supervisory authority available under those rules. Contacting us first may resolve an issue but does not remove an available right to approach an authority directly.
Do Not Track and recognized opt-out signals
A legacy browser Do Not Track setting has no single uniform implementation across services. It is not treated as a universal request to delete all app records, disable every SDK or withdraw every separate consent associated with a device.
Legally recognized preference signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable, are different. We apply a valid signal as the relevant law requires for the processing concerned. Its effect relates to the applicable browser, device or context; it does not automatically identify every independent app installation.
You can also send an applicable sale, sharing or targeted-advertising opt-out to support@softlaneai.org. Identify the relevant service or available device record without sending credentials so that the choice can be applied appropriately. Restricting an advertising identifier does not by itself erase previously collected records; use a deletion request as well if that is your intention.
California privacy choices
Where California privacy law applies to our handling, its scope, thresholds and exceptions determine the rights available. The information categories, sources, purposes, recipient groups and retention criteria earlier in this policy explain the relevant activity.
Categories can include identifiers and contact information, commercial information about purchases and entitlements, internet or app activity and technical information, and images, videos, prompts or messages you provide. The contents of chosen material may reveal additional personal or sensitive information. These are used and disclosed for the purposes and recipients already described, with the creation deadline unchanged.
- Applicable rights include knowing and accessing information and details about its handling, correcting inaccuracies and requesting deletion subject to statutory exceptions.
- You may exercise applicable choices to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising and to limit qualifying uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
- You may use an authorized agent under the relevant authorization and verification rules, and exercise protected rights without unlawful discrimination.
We do not exchange information for money, but California's definitions of sale and sharing can also cover other disclosures. Where necessary attribution information exchanged with an enabled acquisition channel falls within those definitions, an applicable opt-out can be made through our contact address or a legally recognized preference signal. Those attribution exchanges do not include creation material, support messages or purchase events from us.
Verification is proportionate to the request, and we explain a relevant exception that prevents full completion. You need not resend sensitive content merely to ask about it. Begin by describing the issue so that any additional information needed to identify or verify the matter remains limited.
Virginia requests and appeals
If the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act applies, eligible residents may exercise its rights within the law's scope and exceptions. The processing described earlier is the basis for these choices; naming a conditional right does not mean every form of processing below takes place in Soft Lane.
- Confirm whether personal data is processed, access it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion and receive an applicable portable copy of information you provided in a usable format.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data or profiling for decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, where that processing and right apply.
- Exercise protected rights without unlawful discrimination and appeal a refusal through the same contact route used for the request.
Send a request to support@softlaneai.org. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the same address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject and explain what you would like reconsidered. We review the appeal and communicate the outcome and reasons within the applicable legal period. If it is denied, we provide the available method for submitting a complaint to the Virginia Attorney General.
Changes to this policy
The displayed date identifies this policy version. We may revise it when features, information handling, provider arrangements or legal requirements change. Material changes receive additional notice where required, rather than being introduced only through an unexplained edit to a page.
A new purpose requiring consent or another legal step must meet that requirement. Updating the notice does not replace it, remove rights relating to information already processed or extend a creation's fixed deadline. The policy must remain aligned with the service's actual handling, including attribution and deletion.
An independent provider may change its own notice. Those changes do not replace our responsibility to explain and protect information processed by us or for us. You may contact us about a change and its effect on information connected with your use of Soft Lane.
Contacting us about information
For access, correction, deletion, an objection, an appeal, a security concern or a question about this policy, write to support@softlaneai.org. Postal enquiries can be addressed to Abacus Homedale LLC, 4543 S Holladay Blvd, Holladay, UT 84117-4425, United States. Our official website is https://www.softlaneai.org.
Explain the issue or right concerned and provide a limited app-user or order reference if available. A reply email address is a means of correspondence, not proof of a registered Soft Lane login. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment details or unrelated identity documents.
A concerning result can be reported from its detail page without leaving the app, or described to support. Avoid forwarding illegal material or unnecessary private details when an explanation will suffice. Any creation information in a report or attachment keeps its original removal deadline.
The linked pages below explain support, purchases and data removal. A purchase question does not block a privacy request, and a request for help does not sign you up for unrelated marketing. Keep a follow-up focused on what remains unresolved rather than resending unnecessary private files.
